Hey all... so, I'm curious. What side are you on and why? Are you someone who rocks out on GH: World Tour, or are you a Rock Band fanatic? I'm curious why people are so obsessed with one game, and a complete hater towards the other?? Or, am I wrong?

Talk to me guys! Let's keep this civil, and we should first all agree that these music games are the best!

Well, I lean more towards Rock Band, only because I haven't played GH: World Tour yet (I only own Guitar Hero 3), and I think the concept of a whole band playing together is awesome! There are a few things I'd change about Rock Band, but until then, I'm a Rock Band kinda guy. But I'll always have a special place in my heart for GH!

P.S. I beat Rock band on Band Tour mode last night with my brothers!! WE ARE LEGENDS!!!

Well I must say that your argument is somewhat invalid, as I'm sure you and everyone knows now that Guitar Hero has caught up with Rock Band, hence their "World Tour," so both games have the "concept of a whole band playing together," as you put it.

I'd like to note that I think Guitar Hero is probably naturally harder than Rock Band, as their drum set has 5 pads, as opposed to the RB's 4, so I would imagine, yes, it's more realistic, but also it's more realistically harder!

i like rock band coz its easier  ........ plus i can play with others and its not as expensive as guitar hero world tour .... besides rock band came out first

Haha!! I agree, Rock Band IS easier. One obvious reason is because the drumset only has four pads while the GH:WT game has five. And yes, it is a bit cheaper than GH:WT! And a-ha! Rock Band did come out first. GH:WT stole the idea! x)

Well, Jeffffffff..... I don't own GH;WT, hence, I do not have the mental ability to compare the two games. Although, my neighbor has GH;WT, but has the Guitar-only pack.

So I personaly like Guitar Hero better. I dont know why thats just me.

Phew, this is quite an old thread! But, I still stand by my love for Rock Band. Especially when I own the amazing masterpiece that is The Beatles: Rock Band.

haha I dont like the beatles so... lol... yeah.

I heard a Green Day rock band was coming out.... I'm not a huge fan of Green Day, but I like the fact that rock band is offering individual bands to buy, because I love playing songs that I actually know (aka Beatles Rock Band)

The Green Day rockband will be pretty cool. I actually like green day so yeah. I think band hero will probably be better then the regular rock band or guitar hero because it has more MODERN songs. Not older songs.

Umm no actually Guitar Hero came out before Rock Band did. Guitar hero 1 came out a LONG time ago. like 04 or something like that. somewhere close to their.

Heh, I think she's talking about the "full band concept." Rock Band definitely came out with that before Guitar Hero, hence the name.  But yes, Guitar Hero pretty much came first.

Oh yeah...

I dont know which one I like better. Im thinking guitar hero though.
