The Nintendo Boy Project

Well of course you should! You may be thinking... oh geez, I don't like Nintendo! NintendoBoy.com?! That's probably some geeky game site! *runs away* Okayyy, let's slowww downn a bit. First off, this isn't a Nintendo site. You do not have to be interested in Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Pokemon, or really any video game to enjoy this site! Now hold on! Now you're wondering why it's called NintendoBoy.com... well, this is an internet project where videos are made, and the main character of the videos' name is Nintendo Boy! Sure, he loves a good round of Nintendo gaming, and it may be part of the plot in videos, but you can enjoy these videos whether you love video games or not... all Nintendo Boy wants to get out of you... is a laugh! :) Glad to have you here! :D

But wait... what's that? You do like Nintendo?! Well then we have something extra special for you! After all this website was created out of the inspiration of Nintendo! If you are a Nintendo fan, we have an exclusive members-only adventure game, The Rendezvous, which is based around text-games that involve the characters & worlds of Nintendo (an incredible site game you've never experienced... all created by me!... so why not create an account?)! We also have forum areas to chat about Nintendo Gaming!, as well as a dedicated Game Room Lounge! And of course the Game Room Lounge can be enjoyed by all... who knows.. you may like Nintendo after you sample some games that are based on their real games! So if you love Nintendo, this website offers what Nintendo fans love to see, but if you're just a normal person who just likes the occasional game or not, we still welcome you with open arms, because we have more to offer, plus we love you! <3

Sooo... there's a lot of weird slash random things about our site. Well, besides the fact that I am in love with using ellipses (...). :) There aren't too many weird things, but first off, I'd just like to randomly point out that this site, in some awkward way, is associated with the site known as www.themostawkwardwebsitenametoremembereverbecauseoflength.com... I don't know how or why, but maybe we'll all find out soon enough. Speaking of domain names... did you know that www.nintendoboy.net points to this site? Yeah, pretty awesome. This site first opened as .net after I found out that the .com name was taken by those spam advert sites that everyone hates, but some miracle occurred a few weeks after I purchased .net as the .com domain name became available; so of course I instantly grabbed my hands on it! :) Yeah. And uh... hmm. What else?

I really, really dislike Internet Explorer with the burning passion of a thousand suns. This site was meant to be viewed in Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, so I'm counting on you! :O

Oh! We've been so cool ever since the site opened, that we have actually been interviewed! *gasp*

Oh, and I can't forget this: I must say that a huge incentive that wanted me to start this site was to use the "Nintendo Boy" character (the flash-drawn guy in the red-hoodie on the site banner) in some way, which is pretty much the icon of this site, and was drawn for me by one of my best friends, Josh Adams, who owns the site over at Pokemon Munrock. I owe a lot to him for this site.

Our site slogan... definitely a neat part of the site. When the site first opened, I had no idea what I was gonna do, so I just put the quite annoyingly generic subtitle as "It's Jeff, doing the impossible!"... so from September 17th, 2007 to September 17th, 2008, that was it. Now.. you're thinking.. woah, that's cool, exactly a year! Well, it actually was an accident! On the 17th in 2008, we released a special anniversary video titled "Boredom." Nothing was really special about it, as it was just another sketch comedy video. BUT, it was that video where I decided to change the slogan to a funny quote from the latest video of the project. And from then on, it just naturally worked! Here is a running list of all the slogans that this colorful site has seen... ;)
